Just putting it out there but how serious is Payet's injury? Seems to coincide with the transfer window rather nicely. Reckon he will be back for the next game after City.
Call me cynical but I dont know people on the inside of the club like some of you guys! I also apologize if a similar thread has been posted before.

See today's paper thread... doctor says that Lanzini & Payet 'trained hard' on Monday and Tuesday and will be 'back soon'.

Yeah I won't lie. Missing europe so potentially not cup tied right?, nobody seems to know what his injury is, transfer window coming to an end....has got me worried for sure.

I doubt that the football world in general could keep a story like Payet moving secret for 5 minutes. There would have been some suggestions from an ITK or friend of a friend etc.... No chance as far as I'm concerned
